در حال حاضر ایمپلنت‌های دندانی بهترين جايگزين براي دندان‌های از دست‌رفته هستند که با جراحی در داخل استخوان فک قرار می‌گیرند. درمان با ايمپلنت طيف گسترده اي را شامل ميشود. از جايگزيني يك دندان تا بازسازي كل سيستم دنداني.
بر خلاف ساير روشهاي جايگزيني دنداني مثل بريج هاي دنداني ( پروتز ثابت)، پروتزهاي متحرك پارسيل يا كامل، جايگزيني دندانها با ايمپلنت در حفظ ساختار استخوان فكين و عملكرد سيستم جونده بسيار موثر است و از تحليل پيشرنده استخوان و لثه ممانعت ميكند. بازسازي كامل سيستم دنداني را با تعداد متفاوتي از ايمپلنت ميتوان انجام داد. پس از بررسي وضعيت استخوان فكين و شرايط سني بيمار، همچنين برآورد هزينه ها در مورد تعداد ايمپلنت مورد نياز تصميم گيري شده و تمام گزينه ها با بيمار مورد بحث قرار ميگيرند.
براي مثال برخي بيماران كاملا بي دندان ميتوانند از پروتز متحرك متكي بر ايمپلنت كه به آن اوردنچر گفته ميشود بهره ببرند. پروتزي كه به اين شكل سلخته ميشود بر روي ايمپلنت ها قرار ميگيرد و چون پايه هاي ايمپلنت در داخل استخوان ثابت هستند ، پروتز لق نخواهد زد و به اين ترتيب كيفيت جويدن و صحبت كردن بيمار بسيار ارتقا مي يابد.
گزينه ديگر در بازسازي كامل سيستم دنداني با ايمپلنت، پروتزهاي ثابت هستند. در اين روش از تعداد ايمپلنتهاي بيشتري استفاده ميشود و براي ساخت قسمت تاج ايمپلنت ها از روكشهاي زيركونيا كه درخشندگي طبيعي و مقاومت كافي دارند استفاده ميشود.
همچنين در بيماراني كه يك يا چندين دندان را از دست داده باشند درمان ايمپلنت بسيار توصيه ميشود كه با روكشهاي زيركونيا متكي بر ايمپلنت ميتوان زيبايي و طبيعي بودن و عملكرد مناسب را به بيمار ارائه داد.

Dental Implants

Currently, dental implants are the best replacement for missing teeth. They are surgically placed into the jawbone and offer a wide range of treatment options, from replacing a single tooth to reconstructing the entire dentition.

Unlike other tooth replacement methods, such as dental bridges (fixed prostheses) or removable partial and complete dentures, dental implants play a crucial role in preserving the structure of the jawbone and maintaining proper chewing function. They help prevent progressive bone loss and/or sift tissue recession. A full-mouth reconstruction can be achieved using different numbers of implants. After evaluating the jawbone condition, patient’s age, and estimated costs, the required number of implants is determined, and all available options are discussed with the patient.

For example, some completely edentulous patients can benefit from implant-supported removable dentures, known as overdentures. These dentures are placed on implants, and since the implant bases are firmly embedded in the bone, the denture remains stable without shifting. As such, patient’s ability to chew and speak would be improved significantly.

Another option for full-mouth rehabilitation with implants is fixed prostheses. This method involves using a larger number of implants, and the crowns placed on them are made of zirconia, which has natural shine and sufficient durability.

Additionally, dental implants are highly recommended for patients who have lost one or multiple teeth. Zirconia crowns supported by implants can restore aesthetics, natural appearance, and proper function, providing patients with a durable and visually appealing solution.
